Product Description
STUX is a live CD based on Slackware and Knoppix that can automatically load and save main configuration and personal files on a writable partition. STUX provides automatic hardware detection and supports many graphics cards, sound cards, SCSI devices, USB devices, and other peripherals. It has an unique, easy-to-use graphical interface that was specifically designed for full system configuration and usage. Slackware users can use and configure STUX as they have always done with normal Slackware installations.
STUX GNU/Linux 1.0 is based on Slackware-current (future 12.0) and Knoppix 5.1.1 (kernel 2.6.19) with a collection of GNU/Linux software. In addition, STUX includes:
- NVidia driver 1.0-9755 and Legacy driver 1.0-9631 for old cards.
- Fully VmWare/Qemu compatible
- Fully Integrates with other pre-installed operating systems in multi-boot
- Saves live CD persistent configuration on Reiser partitions (available filesystems: iso9669, reiserfs, ext2, fat).
