Product Description
Pardus is a GNU/Linux distribution funded and developed by the Scientific & Technological Research Council of Turkey. Its design is modular, so that it can achieve the required flexibility and high performance with a task-based and human-focused approach rather than a tool-based and technology-based one.
Pardus is a multilingual operating system with a emphasis on full Turkish support. The character encoding used for Turkish users will be compatible with Turkish (UTF-8). Other languages are supported, such as English, German, Spanish, Dutch, and Portuguese.
Pardus aims to create an operating system which can be installed and used more easily than existing Linux distributions and other competitive operating systems.
Feedback is collected from Pardus users and sent to developers in order to foster Pardus development and maintain a healthy user experience.
