Musix GNU+Linux is a multimedia operating system derived from Knoppix and Debian/Stable, specialized in audio and music production. It is intended for music production, graphic design, audio and video editing, and all kinds of creative tasks. As an install and live DVD, the system boots directly from the DVD without touching your hard drive; so later on, if you want to, you can install Musix. Currently, it has support for Spanish, Galician, Catalan, Basque, English, Portuguese, French, German, and Italian, but the user could install almost any language.
Musix GNU+Linux includes free high quality software that meets the guidelines defined by the Free Software Foundation (FSF).
